After running men's groups about masculine maturity for a few years, we've recognized the need to create a group designed specifically for mothers to learn about male psychology. "Prepare Your Sons" is a two-week group for mom's who want to get a roadmap to the underlying structures of masculine psychology. We will use Jungian psychology to discuss archetypes and their shadow forms that exist within all boys. Our goal is to empower mothers to connect more freely with, challenge and nurture their sons behaviors that can feel foreign.
This is a collaborative, discussion based learning experience. The group will meet on two consecutive Saturdays. to learn about and discuss the ways we see four different archetypes showing up in our children. As with the men's groups, we anticipate lots of recognition of the shadow forms that can be so hard to work with.
